Yesterday was one of the best nights with Jason.

Nights like those made me fall for Jason more and more.

I was entering the school walking through the hallway, heading to my locker to grab some books.

Unfortunately, Jass was feeling sick today so she won't come.

I didn't find Jason waiting for me beside my locker as usual and it was unusual.

Maybe he overslept.

So, I went to the library to wait for him and search for a book that I needed for my project.

When I was looking for the book. I heard some talks and one of the voices seemed so familiar.

So being the nosey me I eavesdropped.

"Really guys Mia is ugly and a very naïve, nerd girl. She is a freak."

I know that voice.
I peeked a little as I saw four figures.

"Then why are you hanging out with her?" Ben asks Jason.

"Just because She is rich and we are family friends," Jason says.
"I mean who would love her guys?. Look at her with that nerdy look of her, no one can bear a freak like her. Even her own mother died from an illness when she was seven, not bearing to live with her." They all are laughing at those hurtful, untrue words.

"I guess you are right." Adrian chuckles.

"Welcome to the gang man." Rick pats Jason's shoulder.
"We will have so much fun bullying Mia together with all the stuff that you have."

"Yeah, man can't wait for it," Jason says while laughing.

I can't believe what I am hearing

It can't be!

Jason is my best friend and my crush. He won't say such a thing about me.

I kept sobbing uncontrollably not able to hold it anymore. Every word out of his mouth was like a stab for me.

I uncontrollably made a sound while crying and the boys noticed my presence.

"Look who we have got here boys?" Rick says amusingly while clasping his hands.

They all laughed. And that's when Jason's eyes and mine connected.

But this time his eyes weren't full of love and safety that I always found in them. They now held nothing except darkness in them.

My Jason was gone.

"H..how dare you? How dare y..you say something like that? I..i thought we were friends." I stutter.

"Well, the thing is that I never liked you. I just hung out with you for your money. You never was my friend you are just a worthless pathetic nerd and I just stayed with you to gather so many things about you then make fun of you and join the bad boys to be popular not the nerd's friend." Jason said proudly putting his hands in his pants front pockets.

His eyes held no guilt.
They held nothing.

"Jason just stop it." I say as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Aww Jason stop it, the baby girl will call her mommy. Oh, wait she can't cause she is dead!." Ben mimics me and the others started laughing including Jason.
