Layer 001:
Fears. He fears he won't ever get to do more in his life, that moisture farming is all he will ever do, and that his dreams can never be fulfilled.
Desires. He wants to leave Tatooine, to become a freighter pilot and see the galaxy firsthand! He wants to go to the academy so he can avoid getting drafted into the Imperial ranks. He wants to become a Jedi like his father.
Hates. He hates the Empire. He hates Tatooine. He hates being belittled, and he hates evil.

Layer 002:
Naivety. He is sheltered, loved and cared for by Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen. He has had the better life on Tatooine, despite its shortcomings.
Innocence. He doesn't understand the true evil of the Galaxy. He believes almost anyone can have a second chance, even if that someone deserves nothing but death.
Loyalty. His loyalties are his priorities. His aunt and uncle where the first priority. The Rebellion and Princess Leia took his loyalties after the death of his guardians.

Layer 003:
First Thoughts Waking Up. "I hope I didn't sleep in..." "I wonder what Han and Leia will argue about today." "Artoo needs a cleaning." "I'm so hungry."
Thoughts About The Rebellion. "They're my family now." "These are good people." "I wonder if Leia will like how hard I work."
Guilty Pleasures: Blue Milk, Hot Chocolate.
Not A Guilty Pleasure. Mara Jade (later) Skywalker.
