AU Roleplay
In an alternate reality, Luke Skywalker was born during the Clone Wars. The wretched war lasted several decades in which Luke was raised as a young Jedi knight while his parents kept his connection to them secret. All was well, until Anakin received troubling nightmares of Padme's death after she became pregnant with another child.
In his reckless pursuit for power over life and death, Anakin caused the death of both his wife and unborn daughter.
In his grief, Anakin fell to the Dark Side, and would later force his son to accept this evil if only to escape the horrors of Darth Sidious' genocide upon the Jedi Knights.
Time would go on, but as Luke grew so did his ideals. Like his mother, he could not remain silent, challenging his father every chance he could. Even if Darth Vader continued to speak only of his loyalties to Darth Sidious, and claimed to spare none for Luke.
