Background: Colby is 18 and Y/n is 17 turning 18 in 6 months. Also they live in Kansas City.

"My parents are getting a divorce, and they both want to move out of the state, but I love it here, this is my home." she looks down.
No, just as I am getting to know her she is going. I need to do something about this. But Y/n needs to stay.
"Do you have any relatives that live here that might take care of you?"
"No, when my parents move here nobody wanted to talk to them anymore."
Think Colby, think.
"What if you move with me?"
"I don't know you."
"Do you trust me?" she took a while to answer.
"Somehow yes."
"Well then move with me."
"O- okay."
"Well should we tell your parents."
"Yeah."
We get out of the room and went to the living room, where Y/n parents are.
"Mom, dad, I need to tell you something."
"Okay."
"I'm moving with...."
"Sorry what's your name."
"Colby." I whisper to her.
"Colby."
"Okay sure just tell us when you are moving with him." Wow they don't even care about
her.
"In 2 days."
"Okay."
2 days later...
I have gotten the house and move in it and today is when Y/n is going to move in.
Knock knock
"Y/n." I said opening the door.
"Hey Colby, and thank you so much." She hug me.
We put all her things in the other room. Since they are 3 rooms we have an extra room.
After a couple of hours I went to check her. I enter her room.
