"I thought we had a deal?" He spat in my face.

"I never agreed to it." I spat back.

"Well it doesn't matter. My boy is back. Cole's an absolute beast." He laughed.

I thought back to the Cole's hands. What did he do?

"And to think....all it took was a stern talking to."

"Is that what happened? You gave him a stern talking to and he's a killer again?" I asked.

"Yeah." His tongue popped.

I swallowed. If Cole had killed another girl..is there even a chance at saving him?

"What are you gonna do to me?"

I assumed I was going to get punished for not helping with breakfast. For calling Zac's girl a bitch. For everything. Was I defeated?

"Cole and I both decided that you're too....difficult  for him. He prefers girls that break easier. He said he wanted to break the news, but I guess he didn't. We switching girls." Zac winked.

"What? No." I tried pushing him off of me.

Zac just laughed.

"We also went out hunting last night."

I knew by the way he delivered that sentence he wasn't talking about animals he was talking about girls. They hunted for girls. Did they kill them?

"What does that have to do with me?" Did he think that by telling me they took or killed  more girls it was going to hurt me? Sure it was horrible but now with Sara...dead...all I had to worry about was myself.

Zac leaned in closer. His lips brushed against my ear.

"Katie's pretty." He whispered.

It had felt like a knife pierced my heart at that very moment. No. Not Katie. They didn't. They wouldn't.

"W-what?" I could hardly get anything else out.

Zac backed off from me. He stood with his arms crossed and looked me up and down.

"I figured if you had someone here you cared about you'd be less likely to run. I mean, sure we could just give you off to another house and be done with you...but there is something special about you. Maybe we'll get rid of you when you become boring. Something tells me that won't be for a while." A disgusting smirk took over Zac's mouth.

"You mother-" Zac put his finger to my lips.

"Ah ah ah. That kind of language won't be coming out of your mouth anymore."

Who did he think he was? The ring leader I suppose. He wasn't going to tell me what to do. Unlike Cole, Zac showed zero signs of still having a good person somewhere deep inside of him. Did Cole still have that good person in him? He was apart of bringing Katie back here - or maybe Zac made him do that.

What was in that "stern talking to"? What convinced Cole to abandon all hope of ever being the good guy?

I stood up straight and looked Zac straight in the eyes. They were black, any color he had previous had was now gone. All I could see was evil.

"You motherfucker." I could only feel what Zac had done next. If he had said anything, I didn't hear it. A hard fist had come in contact with my face. I swear for a moment stars had circled around my head.

I managed to stay standing up, only stumbling back a little bit. Slowly but surely I got less dizzy and stood up straight once more. Zac chuckled.
