OF WHICH LOVE WOULD I PARTAKE?

OF WHICH LOVE WOULD I PARTAKE?

What kind of person
Might bring heartfelt love to my being
Might bring the truest emotions to me from this earthly world? 

Before me
You must not steal another’s kiss
The first belongs to me
The last belongs to me
Also mine are the kisses in between 

Returning to my front door
Long hair cascading down around your hips
Your colorful dress fluttering its spring flowers to and fro
A hug, then a kiss smothers me
Every minute I am in your eyes
Tumbling into those bottomless twin wells
Paralyzed from that moment, unable to rise
Every second I inhale your breath
Living within your sweet fragrance
Even in my dreams

This world turns its dark face to me
There is no one here that you dare seek
The further you are, the better you will be
I return in the darkness, alone to the sea

An angel rises from the east
You discover me as the first person of this world
Gifting me radiant dawn-lit first kisses
Extending to me the freshness of a long-lasting breeze
Kiss me until we part with the last rays of the evening sun
Below our feet, an ocean of jade-white magnolias

I have never changed steps
Never looked back
I am the world nearest yours
Standing guard over our sky and sea, day and night
You embrace my lonely moonlit heart
Receive its every beat and every blessing
Receive my life’s deepest and eternal love
The truest emotions of this earthly world
And those rising then falling tidal songs of the sea
And those songs of love, as soft as the lines along the ocean coasts
