A SEASHELL FOR TWO
Two shores of the ocean
You have your port
I have my navigating beacon
We meet in a hidden corner of the beach
Sharing our slice of time
The canvas is the sea and sky
You paint colorful clouds of love
I light a sun of affection
Hearts beaming as the shining sun
Hand-in-hand, as the sea and sky
Rolling over the fine shoreline
Outside are the forever shimmering waves
And our two long paths of footprints
Touching our ears is a seashell
The never-ending sound of surging waves and promises
A seashell for two
One for you, and one for me
Held in our palms
Forever glowing in their colors
Forever longing for the beach where we exchanged our hearts
No matter how far we might be
Open up your palm
The seashell transports us to the shoreline
Once again tasting the past ocean days together
Recalling the promises we made
