'WHAT." I say, ice cream comes flying out of my mouth. "Yea," She says "I know." "I thought his daughter's name was Mia." I say. "Yea it's my middle name." Well fuck. She looks at me, almost as if trying to figure what I'm thinking. "You ok?" She asks. "Yea," I say "Totally fine." She has no idea that I'm basically in love with her dad. This friendship will be built on nothing but lies. It's kinda sad, that I can't be her friend. She was pretty cool. "Well," I say "I've got to run home." She looks at me . "Why so early?" "Lots and lots of homework." I lie, and walk away, just leaving her sitting there at the table, not knowing.
