Deanna's POV
"Girls wake up! It's our first game today" I heard someone said. I gently opened my eyes to see kung sino yun.
"Deans ikaw na gumising diyan kay Pongs ha, gigisingin ko pa yung rookies" ate mads said tapos she left our room na.
It's Sunday today and it's our first game against Pocari. This is a huge thing for us kasi first time makikita ng mga fans yung bagong Lady Eagles, especially now that we have a new head coach which is Coach O and marami ring dumating na rookies.
I got up from my bed to check the time, it's 9:28 na pala. I walked towards the bed of Ponggay to wake her up.
"Pongs wake up! Breakfast na daw tayo" I said while shaking her.
"No classes today Deans, I can still sleep it's Sunday" she replied.
"Exactly it's Sunday! It's our first game in the PVL" I told her.
"Shocks! I can't believe I forgot it" pongs said tapos she quickly got up from her bed and left the room running. Hays classic Ponggay. I picked up my phone on the side table tapos sumunod na rin ako sa baba.
"Good morning Deans"
"Good morning Ate Deanna" they greeted me. I gave them a smile naman.
"Good morning rin guys" I greeted them tapos I took the remaining chair beside jaycel.
"Wowwwww waffles and sausage!" I said when I saw the food on our table.
"Guess who cookeddddd" jules said.
"Of course the usual sila Ate Kat and Ate Kim" I answered.
"Wrong" dani said.
"Si Yumi? Si Erika?" I said trying to guess who cooked the breakfast. Eh as far as I know aside kila Ate Kim and Kitty, sila Yumi and Erika lang naman yung madalas magluto. No offense meant to my other teammates, pare-parehas lang naman kaming walang talent when it comes to cooking hahaha.
"It was Ate Mads" jules said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Hey tumulong rin ako, ako kaya yung nagtimpla ng coffees niyo" ate bei said.
"Of course Ate Bei, thank you for our coffees ha" pongs said to ate bei sarcastically tapos ate bei smiled naman.
"Thanks for the food Captains" I said to Ate Bei and Ate Mads tapos I started putting food na on my plate para makakain na rin.
"Oh my gosh Ate Bei ang sarap ng coffee, pwede ka ng magbarista" jaycel said.
"Really Jayce?" ate bei asked her.
"Oo nga Ate Bei, magchange of career ka na kaya" pongs said tapos we laughed naman. Trip ata ni Pongs si Ate Bei ngayon hahaha.
"I hate you Pongs" ate bei said and then she started eating na rin.
I opened my phone to check my inbox, andami palang nagmessage sakin.
Mom: Good morning Langga! Goodluck on your first game💙 #OBF
Achi: Goodluck Monggo get that win ha💪
Lodicakes Cy: Lodicakes goodluck sa first game niyo ha😄
Dad: Sachi goodluck on your first game, we'll be watching the TV later to support you
Dichi: Sachiiiiiii finally you have a game na ulit, I'll watch here at my work hehe goodluck and heartstrong😝
