Paraxenos

We wait, through the long years of the slumbering dark,

For the one who will lead us out, when we embark

On the greatest journey the ages have ever seen:

Paraxenos will return when our part is complete.

Before the downfall, we were so close to freedom.

The five wise men, but most of all the one

Who understood us, rallied us to stand:

Paraxenos raised us, made us strong again.

Yet now we are hidden, in caves and holes

We take our refuge, 'til the time that, full

Appointed, comes, when we shall rise:

When Paraxenos returns, we'll claim our prize.

Soon now the shining world will hear

Our battle trumpets, and they'll fear

The rumor of our coming storm:

When Paraxenos leads us out to war.
