It was Saturday afternoon, and Suna had just arrived at your door.
"You ready?"
He smiled as he stood at your doorstep.

"Eh, almost. Come on in."
You motioned Suna to step inside.

He nodded and walked into your living room.
"Nice place."
Suna replied as he sat on your couch.

You smiled.
"Thank you."

You headed into your room to grab your phone while Suna observed your house decor.
His eyes fell on a picture of you and your family.
It was you as a little kid, at an amusement park. A woman with dark hair stood next to you, holding cotton candy in one hand and a big purple ballon in the other.
A red rollercoaster was in the background and a mascot held up a peace sign from behind you.

"Aw, she looks adorable..."
Suna thought as he observed your little 8 year old face.

"Suna? I got my stuff."
You suddenly said as you approached the living room.
Suna jumped, you must've startled him.
"Oh right, yeah let's get going."
He replied as he stood up.
He still seemed to be focused on the picture of you.
"Is that your mom?"
He suddenly asked, pointing at the picture.

You looked over at Suna nervously.
You quickly nodded and started pulling on your sneakers.
"Is everyone else already in the car?"
You asked, trying to change the topic.

"Yeah, we got an Uber instead."
Suna answered.

"I've never seen your mom before, is she here in Japan too?"
Suna asked, as he headed to the door.
"Tch."
You gritted your teeth.

"No she isn't in Japan."
You muttered.

"Oh I see, she decided to stay in London?"
Suna was growing curious.

"She passed away."
You replied coldly.

Suna's expression dropped.
"Oh- I'm so sorry (y/n)."
He looked uncomfortable, and maybe even a little guilty.

"It's fine. It was a freak accident, or something like that. They haven't even found her body yet." You said, trying your best to fake a smile as you opened your front door. "She took marine biology, went missing on a animal rescue trip. That's all we know."

Suna gave you a pitiful look and followed you outside.

"Ahhh darling!"
Himari squealed when she saw you.
Atsumu stood next to her, already annoyed.
