I leaned back in my seat as I kept thinking about the murder.

"So?" Jimin asked.

"do you know the serial killer who's on the loose now?" I asked him.

"Yeah I've heard about him" he took a bite of his pancake.

"the police think he might've killed this guy" I pointed to the screen.

"did they find anything to lead them to that assumption?" he asked.

"That's the thing Jimin. He never leaves anything behind. No evidence. That's why Tae and I call him the shadow killer" I said.

He laughed at my remark as I stared blankly at him.

"the shadow killer? That's a funny name" he said through his laughs.
I rolled my eyes at him.

After he calmed down, he asked "did you ever work on any of his cases?" he asked me smiling.

"I did"

He looked impressed by my answer.

"what do you think of him?" he asked in a different tone.

What do I think? That's a new question to be asked.

Jimin's POV:

"well" she took a moment to think and continued "I think he commits his crimes for two reasons" she said.

Interesting, she thinks she knows something.

"first, I think he commits these crimes because he enjoys killing people. He finds pleasure in his criminal actions." I smirked at her answer.

That's true.

"And second?" I asked curious with the same smirk.

"second, I think he's hurt" my smirk faded immediately at her answer.

"he's hurt by people and so now he's seeking to hurt them back. You could say these crimes help him release his anger and hatred against people" she said with a sad face.

How could she realize this from my crimes? Nobody ever noticed such a thing before.

They always called me different names.

How could she?

I tensed up and couldn't bare the idea of someone knowing me or reading my true colors.

"this might seem weird, but I kind of want to meet him someday just so I could talk to him and ask him what's wrong? Maybe it's safer when he's behind bars" she chuckled.

I got up on my feet and she looked at me surprised.

I couldn't stay longer. I felt vulnerable.

"I - I'm sorry I have to go. I forgot I had something important to do"

I didn't wait for her approval or disapproval and quickly walked to the front door.

She followed behind me.

"is everything okay?" she asked.
"yeah, bye" I quickly ran out of there.

I got in my car and shut the door hard.

"How? How? HOW!" I shouted frustrated.

I ran my hand through my hairs wondering how she was able to conclude that.

"Why is she making my will to kill her weaker?" my eyebrows furrowed.

Her actions were protecting her from me.

Now I don't want to kill her so soon.

I want to keep her a little longer and just know her.

I'm more curious about her now.
