"Truth or dare for Lydia."
Lydia didn't hesitate a moment. "Dare."
"Take Milo on a date."
Milo and Lydia both looked at Kat in shock. "Like, right now?" Lydia questioned, "It's like 3AM!"
Kat shrugged. "It doesn't have to be now. It can be tomorrow, or next week. It just has to happen."
Lydia stared at her. "I... don't think that's how a dare works, Kat."
"You can use your pass if you don't want to," Kat said with a shrug.
The Lydia Bennet never passed on a dare. "No! I mean, uh- I'd love to- I- I'd like that a lot."
She turned for help to Milo, who grinned. "I'd like that a lot too, Squirrel."
The room stayed silent for a couple of seconds, as Lydia and Milo looked at each other, both red as beets.
"So, that's a date?!" Kat grinned wider than Lydia and Milo combined. "Great! One more thing, pretzels in Central Park don't count. A real, proper date this time."
Lydia chuckled. "Got it, boss."
