SADIE: I'm sure you can guess where I'm starting this story from today. Yup. Werewolf transitional chambers, aka, my cell for when I have an episode. Hope had come down when I finally woke up around 2:30 a.m., going on about Landon being in trouble or something
"Hope." Sadie says, standing opposite her friend behind the bars. She points to her head. "Recently tranqed. Just woke up. Slow down a little."
"Sorry." Hope apologizes. "Long story short: Landon's in trouble."
"Yes, I'm with you there." Sadie says
"I'm going to go save him." Hope says
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Sadie asks
"With these." Hope says, holding up keys
"You stole--" Sadie starts
"Dr Saltzman's keys?" Hope finishes. "Yes."
"Huh." Sadie says, smiling and crossing her arms. "I think I'm starting to become a bad influence on you."
Hope lets out a small laugh
"What's the catch?" Sadie asks
"Huh?" Hope asks
"Nothing for us is ever straightforward." Sadie tells her. "What's the catch."
"I have to leave you here." Hope says
"Well, yeah, I got that part." Sadie says. "There's no way Mr Williams will let me out of here."
"I mean for a few days." Hope says
"Oh." Sadie realizes. "So you're saying that...that I'm going to be alone in my cell for a few days."
"I'm sorry." Hope says
"No, it's totally okay." Sadie tells her, gulping with worry. "You have to go save Landon, I get it. Go."
"I promise I'll be back soon." Hope says, turning around and walking away
"Yeah, yeah." Sadie says. "Hey, get me a souvenir!" She calls after Hope
"Will do!" Hope calls back
Sadie lets out a small laugh, watching Hope leave
Hope walks through the doorway and closes the door behind her
Sadie's smile drops
She looks around, crossing her arms and holding them close to her chest
A few tears slip from her eyes and a sob escapes her lips before she clasps a hand over her mouth to silence herself
Her legs tremble as she slowly lowers herself onto her bed
She's all alone
