Tris sighed in boredom as she left her room to go to the library. She shoved her hands into her pockets as she walked the hallways that were slowly becoming familiar. Though she was most thorough with the way to the library, which was where you would find her on a normal day. She didn't really need training because she could just burn someone's soul by triggering her powers. So she would spend most of her time in the library. Today was no different. She finally had some free time to pick up the last book she was reading and finish it.

She pushed open the large doors, the air gently touching her face as they pushed her baby hair back. She tucked them behind her ear and began walking towards the center of the library since her book was on the other side. As she got to the center, she was surprised to find Jace, his legs kicked up on the table in front of him, a book resting on his lap as his head was rested on the back of the armchair. It looked like he fell asleep since his eyes were closed and his mouth slightly open, light snores leaving his lips.

She quietly sneaked past him and went to go grab the book she was reading from the bookshelf. Tris furrowed her brows as she ran her hand through the binding of each book on there. She swore she had left it here. A small sigh escaped her lips as she turned around to leave before she noticed the covering of the book on Jace's lap. Slowly, the brunette picked it up and flipped it to see the cover.

A large grin adorned her features as she realized that it was the book she was reading. And somehow, he had even managed to read his way to where she stopped last. Page 302. She shook her head as she closed the book and set it on the table, patting Jace's shoulder. "Jace. Jace, wake up."

He wouldn't budge. Tris scowled as she pushed him off the chair and smiled when she heard him scream. "By the Angel, Tris, what the Hell?" He yelled, annoyed.

"Get up, man," Tris said, picking up her book. He clearly noticed the sly smirk on her face as she took it and she noticed the light blush coating his cheeks and ears.

He pushed his blonde hair back before standing up and glancing at her as she continued to smirk at him and his flustered self. "What?" He asked.

"Nothing," she shrugged. "I just thought that you didn't really like psychological thrillers?"

"Oh, shut up," he scoffed, grabbing the book from her, making her laugh as she hooked her arm onto his.

"So, like, are you a fan now?" Tris asked in a teasing voice while squinting at him.

He frowned down at her. "Stop, I was trying to do something nice. I just happened to like it."

"What, for me?"

"Yeah."

Tris couldn't help the smile stretch on her lips. "Wait, really?"

Jace groaned, waving a hand and putting the book down. "No, don't. Please."

"God, I wasn't even saying anything..." Tris paused. "But, like, seriously?"

Jace huffed loudly. "You know, Alec's making an announcement. We gotta go." He grabbed her hand as she began laughing and pulled her out of the library towards the Ops Centre, still slightly flustered.
