This is a preview of my contemporary romance young adult novella, Heartstruck.
It's a story about Filipino martial arts (also known as arnis), first loves, true friendship, and finding your place in the world.
I started writing Alexa and Theo's story way back in 2011 when I took up an arnis course for P.E., and even though it took quite a long time, I'm grateful that I finally completed it with the help of so many amazing and talented people. It wasn't easy, but definitely worth it. I had a lot of fun writing this manuscript, and I sincerely hope you all enjoy reading it.

This project was developed under the #romanceclass YA imprint, Flicker. This is the first book in the collection of Filipino young adult romances written by Filipino authors.
