i had to make a stop at my hotel to grab my phone that i left by mistake.i got the key from my back pocket and slid it through the key slide.

as i walked in i felt a presence in the room i turned around and saw a man with blue eyes and light brown hair i could tell he was a vampire

"can i help you" i asked

"hello, again love" he said

"do i know you?" i asked. if i had met him before i  don't remember him

"you knew me in the past and now its time for you to remember" he compelled me

then i started to remember him.........Klaus

Flashback

i was walking home from a party that my best friend Katherine took me to. my mother introduced me to Katherine and then we became best friends even though i was 13 and she was 17. she was like the big sister i never had

Katherine told me my mom wanted me home so i walked home because the party was just down the street. as i finally got up to the drive way i noticed my mother's car wasn't there. i shrug it off and got the key from my back pocket and unlocked the front door

"mom.........mom.......are you home.........Katherine said you needed to talk to me" i yelled while checking the house, but she wasn't home, how strange

i suddenly felt a presences behind me, it must be my mother or Katherine they are the only vampires in this town

i spun around to become face to face with a man with light brown hair and blue eyes to match

"um how did you get in to my house and who are you" i asked the stranger 

"hello love, I'm Klaus and you left your door unlocked"he said

i gasped Katherine told me about him he was the oldest and most powerful vampire along with his siblings. she told me that she has been on the run from him for almost 500 years

"w...what do you want from me" i stutter

"aww come down love, I'm not here to hurt you, but i do need a favor"he said

"w..what is it"

"well first i need you to find out some information about Katerina petrova" he said

i raised an eyebrow clearly confused "Katerina petrova?" i questioned not knowing who he was talking about

"ahh so she goes by a different name now, what was it again, oh Katerine Pierce" he said
