Mom had us all masked up, even Dad and Rodrick. It was annoying, felt like we couldn't even breathe properly. But hey, if it helps us get out of this mess sooner, I guess it's worth it?

So I head over to Rowley's, mask and all. Knock on his door, and his dad answers, giving me this intense stare like he's a hawk on crack.

"Greg?" he grunts.

"I'm here for Rowley," I say.

"Alright, come on in," he grumbles.

Rowley's chilling in his room, gaming away.

"Oh hey, Greg," he says.

"Hey, Rowley," I reply.

"I gotta tell you something," I say.

"What is it, Greg?" he asks.

"I've got the virus," I say with a straight face.

"Wait, what?!" he freaks out.

"Yeah, so stay away from me," I tell him.

"Haha, gotcha!" I burst out laughing. "It's just a prank, Rowley! You've been bamboozled!"

But Rowley's not laughing. "This isn't funny, Greg. I'm telling my parents."

"It was just a joke, Rowley," I try to explain.

"Greg, go home!" Rowley's dad interrupts. "We don't want you infecting our son."

"It was just a prank, sir," I plead.

"Yeah, yeah, pranks," he grumbles.

So there I was, kicked out of Rowley's house all because of a little joke. I just wanted to have some fun, but Rowley took it way too seriously.

Seriously, way too seriously. LOL.
