Ink gave Sydney and her dad some room for privacy. He went outside and decided he would bring Charmaine inside in a few minutes. Ink picked Charmaine up off her little mat.
"Everything alright, brother?" Bear asks as Ink walks by them to get back into the compound.
"I don't know for sure." Ink wasn't going to speak much on the situation until he was sure himself. He walked past his brothers and back to the compound. Charmaine was resting her head on his shoulder while her arms lazily rested on his chest.
When Ink got into the common room where Sydney and her dad were talking, he slowed his pace as he got closer.
It was like Sydney sensed Ink in the room. She turned around and saw her man holding their beautiful daughter. It was the one sight Sydney thought her heart would never melt over.
"Dad. Meet your beautiful granddaughter. Charmaine Cerise." Sydney said as Ink carefully hands Charmaine over to him. Sydney's dad cradled Charmaine and had a look in his eyes she had never seen before. At least not from him. It was like he fell in love with her as soon as the little girl looked up at him.
"Look at those cheeks and, oh my, those beautiful chocolate eyes." Sydney's dad was in complete awe while looking down at Charmaine.
