Author's note: Hey guys.  I just want to take a moment to apologize for not getting chapter 2 of Dracula's Lost Love up on Saturday.  I was planning on getting it up, but instead I had to go out in my neighborhood looking for my dog.  She managed to push the wire of my fence up just enough to slip out.  And it took me two hours to finally get her home safe and sound.  I was literally running around the neighborhood, and finally ended up in the woods chasing after her, before she decided to follow me home and run back into the fenced in area of my backyard.  Then I was going to update last night.  Unfortunately I couldn't update last night because of a bad storm which made me lose power.  I'm not making up excuses.  Trust me when I say that.  I'm upset with myself for not getting this chapter up sooner.  I also feel that I owe you guys an explanation as to why I haven't updated this chapter soon.  Thank you all for being so understanding.  I will do my best to keep on track with the regular updates for this story every Saturday.

"Valerious," a voice whispered from behind Valerious the elder.

"Huh," Valerious the elder questioned while looking around for the source of the whisper that pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Valerious," the voice said again.

"Whose there?!? What do you want from me," Valerious the elder questioned. "Show yourself!"

"Behind you," The voice said causing Valerious to turn around.

There before him stood a man that had power flowing off of him in waves. "Who are you? How did you manage to get into my home; without being detected?"

"I'm sure you know who I am. After all I'm the most feared being that rules the underworld. As for how I got in here. Well, I have my ways," the man said with a sly smirk on his face. "But that is not why I'm here. I'm here because you have summoned me. I know of the tragic loss you had gone through. You keep asking yourself why did your son have to die. What if I told you that there is a way to bring your son back," the man asked.

"I never did such a thing. Even if I had, I know there is no way you could do such a task...unless you're the devil. Even then the devil doesn't do things without a price," Valerious the elder said before studying the man more closely, suddenly realizing that he was in deed talking to the devil. "Oh my god. I didn't think I would see the day that you would appear before my eyes."

"Alright you caught me. Your precious son was the one who made a deal with me. He and I both watched as you grieved for his loss, as well as his young bride. He tried to make a bargain that I bring him and her back. Unfortunately, I don't have his love," The devil answered.

"Why would he want you to bring her back? I'm sure she's found peace," Valerious said.

"That is exactly what she did. While your son was sent to me for all that he had done during his lifetime; she was sent up to heaven for all her good deeds. Imagine the reaction your son had when he heard that I can't touch his love in order to give her a second chance, much like I'm giving him," The devil said.

"What is the price that my son had to pay in order to regain a second chance from you," Valerious the elder asked.

The devil smirked before replying. "Don't worry about it. Your loving son already agreed to the terms of our agreement. May you enjoy every moment that you have when your son returns home to you." The devil then disappeared before his eyes, leaving a confused Valerious standing there. Valerious heard the front door of the manor open, causing him to cautiously make is way to the door. When he got there, he spotted Dracula standing there. "Vlad...how can this be? I found you dead in the room alongside Lilith."
