(Slight TW! Perhaps? Coming out and Relationship Issues!)

Huey, Webby, Cecilia and I had all decided to meet up with Fenton at a robotics store he likes to go to. Well, Huey and Webby wanted to go, I decided to tag along because I need some more parts for a large-scale project I'm working on, and Cecilia just happened to be in the area and I sort-of dragged her along with us.

But this would be fun, perhaps, as long as she wasn't aggressively romantic. The kids wouldn't suspect a thing, though, if I was gonna tell any kid first, it'd definitely be Huey. He'd be the most calm out of everyone.

"Sooo," Webby began, "Where is this friend of yours?"

Huey looked increasingly nervous. "Oh, Fenton is really busy! ...Working on... robotics!" He semi-lied, obviously sweating.

I rolled my eyes, taking over. "Fenton interns under Dr. Gyro Gearloose, and Gyro keeps him very busy," I explained, much more efficiently.

"How come we're still graced with your presence?" Cecilia joked, "Shouldn't you be at the lab?"

I laughed, before deadpanning. "Gyro knows what I will do to him if he keeps me over time."

They all gave me weird looks and I laughed. "Kidding!" I was not kidding.

We saw Gizmoduck fly overhead before crashing into what seemed to be a nearby alley. About 10 seconds later, Fenton exited from the alley, dragging his typical duffle bag.

"Sorry I'm late. Hey Huey," He greeted, nervous as always.

"Fenton!" Huey greeted, equally nervous, "You just missed a Gizmoduck fly-by-"

Webby gasped. "Oh! You're Gizmoduck!"

I facepalmed.

"Huey!" Fenton exclaimed.

"I didn't say anything!" Huey defended.

Webby began bombarding Fenton with questions.

I nodded. "To be fair, Fenton, he really didn't say anything."

Fenton wrote something down in his book, before meeting the unfamiliar gaze of Cecilia.

"Uh... who is this?" He asked.

"Cecilia," I answered, giving him a knowing look.

"Ah," he nodded with an advanced understanding, before writing her name down, I assume. He's heard me talk about her before. He also knows that no one in my family knows. Good ol' Fenton.

He closed the book, putting it back. "No matter," he held up a hand, picking up his bag, "Hero-ing is well and good, but today is about science!" He triumped, walking into the store.

The kids followed and Cecilia and I walked in after.

I stopped listening to Fenton ramble, since he does it an awful lot, and began looking for the parts that I need.

I heard Cecilia scoff, and turned to see her roll her eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked.

She pointed to a shorter bird wearing baggy jeans, a tank top and headphones around her neck.

I looked at Cecilia in confusion. "What about her?"

Cecilia shook her head. "Her name is Gandra. Gandra Dee. She's insufferable," She scoffed.

I rolled my eyes at that, grabbing some of the parts I needed. To be frank, I don't have time for petty drama. Despite how bad that sounds. "I'm sure she can't be that bad," I offered.
