"MOMMY MOMMY look at my coloring" my daughter Emery calls
She shows me the picture that she colored its a picture of My Little Pony that is colored in pinks and purples
"It looks, lovely honey. Why don't you go color one for your dad and baby brother." I tell Emery
"Okay mommy," she says and runs off to her playroom
Me and Luca have been together for 10 years now and we couldn't be happier. We got engaged when we were twenty-three a year later we got married and then a year later I gave birth to Emery Annaliese Sage at age twenty-six I gave birth to our son Mateo Alexander Sage.
Which brings us to the present we are twenty-seven now and I'm making dinner since it's my night to cook and I'm also waiting for my husband to come home.
I'm putting the pasta in the boiling water when I hear Luca call "I'm home" "Daddy!" Emery calls most likely running to Luca "How's my princess," Luca says and Emery giggles she is a full-on daddy's girls
"Hi baby," Luca says walking into the kitchen with Emery in his arms
"Hi honey," I say I started to call him that because he absolutely hates it when I call him that
"What have I said about calling me that"
"Oh come on you love it"
"Yeah yeah"
"Where is my little man at," Luca asks
"Taking his nap. He actually needs to wake up. Can you wake him up for me?"
"Of course come on Emery lets go wake up bubba," Luca tells Emery
"Bubba!" Emery says excitedly
Luca puts down Emery and she runs to go get her brother. Luca pecks my lips and tells me he loves me and follows after her.
He comes back holding Emery in one arm and Mateo in the other and as I'm looking at him holding both our kids I couldn't help but fall in love with him all over again
Luca and our kids are my constant and we are his constant.
