"i didn't know you had a girlfriend!" i chuckled at you.

"probably cause i don't have one."

"what? you're confusing me." class just started so you were keeping your voice down.

"i was kidding. mali is my sister."

"oh. how is she?"

i smiled. "she's awesome. i don't think i can ask for a better sibling."

i looked at you and you were just staring at our table.

i could tell you were listening, and you seemed as if you were remembering something.

"are you okay?" i asked.

you smiled and replied, "yeah, i'm fine."

"wait! that was not included in the question thing!"

your smile grew bigger. "right."

"good. well, it's my turn now. do you, do you have any siblings?" i questioned, leaning my back on the chair.

you stared at your hands. 

from the past few weeks, i noticed that you always stared at your hands when you were unsure of something.

i saw you sigh heavily. 

"i had one." you said turning your gaze to me.

"but," i already knew what you were going to say next.

"but he died."
