Transmigration

Morinathia Rosales—the exact letters that posed a challenge during my earliest days of learning. Clutching a pen and paper with eagerness, as I would inscribed the symbols of my identity. Each day of my kindergarten marked a struggle to master every alphabet, to give each stroke of writing the right label I have.

Meeting new people and unveiling myself, introducing who I am with the name bestowed upon me by the one who brought me into this world.

As time passed, I grew to embrace each letters of my identity.

And even if I was shot on the chest, fell from a cliff and drown in an ocean, I could still vividly recall the name I have.

Morinathia Rosales.

I might have hit my head and faced death, yet I'm not foolish enough to assume that this old man isn't referring to me.

Clearly, I am not the lady he mentioned—the Pheryncia... whatever it is. But why are their eyes fixed on me?!

Are they expecting me to celebrate? Hah! I don't even know the name he mentioned. I'm just waiting for anyone in this room to atleast explain to me what happened. Why am I imprisoned in this place? and now witnessing these bizarre... magical things.

"Your Majesty, why would you simply agree to that reckless Pact?"

"I can't believe this!"

"My King!—"

He's now at the right side of their King giving a warning. A hush fell over the crowd. Yet, some are still casting a glance on my side and would throw me the most familiar emotions in their eyes. Hatred.

How much longer will this take? Can they just end this already? My body feels so numb, and my eyes desperately want to shut.

Their King who's demeanor showed no sign of concern, stood calmly as his voice resonated the hushed room.

"I don't repeat my words, nor do I break a promise," he stated firmly, mata'y inililibot sa paligid. "Summon the healers and escort the youngest princess to a decent chamber. This meeting is now dismissed."

I didn't bother to follow any of them with my gaze because just by their looks, I could already strongly sense it's evident sharpness.

I darted my eyes to her.

She dared, huh?

I rolled my eyes to her in the most harshest way. I almost shook my head because of the sudden dizziness after doing that, but I didn't.

Before she could voice her protest, the familiar figures of cosplayer guards approached our side with a foreign elderly woman who's holding a golden basket with some weird leaves in it.
