Chapter 32

Nevan's pov

I woke up with one hell of a headache. I open my eyes to see that I am on the floor of a basement that looks old. It hit me then that the bus had hit the side of the car. I started to panic because I could not see Guinevere. I rub my eyes and I see Guinevere naked.

I sit up but feel like someone takes their car and drives over to me. I take a deep breath and I move to Guinevere who is still unconscious. I take off my shirt and put it around her and I take off my pants that I put on her.

I hear movement next to me and I see a boy sitting at the counter of the room. Then it hit me. It is Luke.

"Luke. Buddy, are you awake?"I question

"Nevan you are awake. I tried so hard to tell them not to kidnap you. I am sorry for not fighting."Luke said

"Luke, it is okay. We will make it out alive. We just need to have hope and believe that god is on our side."I said

I took off my sleeping pants and gave them to Luke.

"Here put this on, "I said

Luke nodded and I could see he was in pain. He lost so much weight. He has scars that were newly lit on his body. His hip is blue and purple. We both sat next to Guinevere.

"How long have you been here?"I ask

"Since I landed here," Luke said

"Tell me about yourself, "I said

"I am 14. I came here to get away from my family because they abused me. After all, I am bisexual. I also wanted a family and to be loved. I want to be an FBI agent just like you."Luke said

Before I could speak again the door flew open. The people are wearing masks so I cannot see their faces but I do recognize a voice. Damien.

"Well, look who woke up," Damien said

Damien grabbed my hair and started hitting me.

If you fight back we will shoot your daughter female voice said and I took every blow. When they were done hitting me they did me up with my feet to a pipe.

"Luke buddy are you okay?"I asked

Yeah, I am but are you good?" Luke questions but I can't hear the fear in his voice.

"I am going kiddo. I will just be fine. How is Guinevere?"I asked

"She is breathing but she is still sleeping," Luke said

I looked around to see dust everywhere with spider webs. There is also mold everywhere and there is a bucket.

Luke tried to move but he did grunt. I then tried to remember where the spot was on his hip. I took biology so I know where every bone sits.

"Luke, you need to stop moving. You might have a fractured hip. Did they kick your hip?"I asked

"Yes, they kicked me on my hip when I would not give the man a blow job. How am I going to play soccer and tennis."Luke said

"Do you love sports?"I asked

"Yes, I do. I love playing soccer. Softball, basketball, and tennis."Luke said

"Just like me. I love football. Swimming, running, boxing, and high jump. I was also one of those boys with marks so high and first of all my sports."I said

"How is Talia?"Luke asked

"Well, she is doing very well not sure how she is dealing with the news. I think she is going crazy because my team might not be letting her help. She has been talking about you and we have been trying to find you but I have found you now."I said
