The moon cast a silvery glow on the forest beside the banks of the Yamuna river, as the Yadava ministers and chieftains gathered in secret. The crackling of the campfire filled the air as they huddled together, their faces illuminated by the flickering flames.

Akrur informed, "Devaki Vasudev sahit Maharaj Ugrasen ko bhi bandhi bana liya gaya hai. Humare guptcharo ke anusaar, Kulguru aur kayi mantriyo ko bhi bandhi bana liya gaya hai."

Anger and frustration simmered beneath their composed facades, and the desire for justice burned in their hearts.

"Parantu hum iss samaye Kamsa ka virodh nahi kar sakte. Yeh buddhimaani nahi hogi." Kritvarma said.

Satyak spoke, "Niti kehti hai ki jab shatru swayam se shaktishaali ho, tab toh uske samaksh jhuk jana chahiye, aur fir avsar milte hi prahaar kardo !"

"Iss samaye hum jhukne ke sivaaye aur kuch nahi kar sakte." Viprithu said, "Yadi abhi vidroh karenge toh praano se haath dho baithenge."

Akrur nodded, "Iss samaye humara laksh apne streeyo aur baccho ki suraksha hai. Hume unhe gupt-roop Mathura se dur bhejna hoga."

Devabhaag, the brother of Vasudev, said, "Sarvapratham hume Rohini bhabhi ko kisi surakshit sthaan par bhejna hoga. Kamsa unhe kabhi bhi haani pahucha sakta hai."

"Satyavachan. Rani Rohini iss aapda ke samaye mei humare liye ek pavitra aastha ki pratik hai. Yadi vidroh ki sthiti utpann huyi, toh Vrishniyo ki sena ka niyantran bhi wahi karengi. Unhe hum kuch hone nahi de sakte." Satyak said.

Devabhaag said, "Gokul ke mukhiya Nand, humare sambandhi hai. Mai, Jyesht Vasudev, aur Nand, ek hi Pitamah ke pautra hai. Rohini bhabhi Nand ke ghar surakshit rahengi."

"Yeh sahi rahega." Akrur approved and said, "Devabhaag, aap aur mai aaj hi Rani Rohini ko madhya raatri Gokul chhod aayenge."

He then looked at Satyak and said, "Raja Satyak, aap shigreh ek nauka ka prabandh kar dijiye."

"Awashya." Satyak nodded.

"Raja Viprithu, aap shigreh Nand-raaj ko ek Patra bhej de guptcharo dwara." Akrur told.

"Jaisa aap kahe." Viprithu nodded.

Akrur then looked at the rest of the ministers and chieftains, "Kripiya aap sab bhi prasthaan kare. Aur kisi ko humari baato ka gyaan na ho."

"Jo aagya." They all bowed and carefully made their way back to their homes.

The chambers of Rohini were dimly lit by flickering lamps, casting long shadows against the stone walls. Akrur and Devabhaag, stood before her, their expressions grave and urgent as they told her the plan.

Rohini shook her head at the thought of leaving her husband at such a moment, "Parantu mai apne pati ko Karagrah mei chhod Mathura se kaise jaa sakti hu ?"

"Devi, aap hum Vrishniyo ki Rani hai. Maharaj Ugrasen aur Raja Vasudev ke karagrah mei hone ke karan aap hi humara antim sahara hai." Akrur said.

Devabhaag kneeled before her and said, "Bhabhi, sankat ke iss kshano mei aap hi hum sab ke liye aasha ka deepak hai, jiski oor dekh hum sabhi Yadavo ko sahas milta hai."

"Kintu mai kaha jaayu Devabhaag ? Pati ko chhod mera aur koi aashraye kaha ?" Rohini said.

"Bhabhi," Devabhaag said, "Aapko iss baat ki chinta karne ki awashyakta nahi hai. Aap Gokul mei humare chachere Bhai Nand-raaj ke yaha rahengi. Woh aur unki patni Yashoda, aapko koi kasht nahi hone denge."

Rohini's mind raced as she processed the gravity of the situation. Seeing her hesitate, Akrur said, "Shigreh kariye Devi. Daasi ke vesh mei hum aaj raat hi Yamuna paar kar Gokul jana hoga. Fir pata nahi ki kal hume yeh avsar mile na mile."

She knew she had to trust Akrur and Devabhaag, for they had always been loyal to her family. Nodding resolutely, she made a decision.

"Uchit hai." Rohini agreed.

Devabhaag said, "Shigreh kariye bhabhi, humare paas samaye kam hai."

Without wasting a single moment, Rohini went away and swiftly shed her regal attire and cast aside her precious jewels, replacing them with the humble garments of a maid-servant. The only remnants of her former glory were the symbols of her marital status, delicately adorning her body.

Akrur and Devabhaag helped her gather her belongings and led her to a secret passage that would lead her out of the kingdom undetected. As they made their way through the dark corridors, Rohini couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at leaving her husband behind.

The passage opened to the backside of the city. Akrur and Devabhaag emerged cautiously, their hands tightly gripping their weapons, scanning the surroundings for any lurking guards. Fortunately, the coast was clear, allowing them to swiftly guide Rohini towards the tranquil banks of the Yamuna.

Awaiting their arrival stood Satyak, poised beside a modest-looking boat, that he had deliberately chosen to avoid arousing suspicion.

"Pranaam." Satyak bowed his head, Rohini gave him a nod.

Devabhaag said, "Dhanyawad Rajan."

"Dhanyawad ki awashyakta nahi hai, shigreh jayiye isse pehle Kamsa ke sainik yaha aa jaaye." Satyak said handing the paddle to him.

Akrur kept a hand on young chief's shoulder, "Ab aap bhi mahal laut jayiye. Yaha se hum aage sambhaal lenge."

Satyak nodded, "Jo aagya." And swiftly went away, watching out for any guards.

Akrur and Devabhaag quickly helped Rohini onto the boat, ensuring she was comfortable before joining her. As the boat glided silently across the dark waters of the Yamuna, Rohini looked back at the palace she was leaving behind, her heart heavy with sorrow and uncertainty.
