She started telling lies
She started bunking off
She didn't show up to work
She just didn't put in enough
Lost in life
She couldn't find her way
Crying herself to sleep
Convincing herself
Maybe it would be better if she didn't wake
She didn't know if she could pull through
A walk to her was a run to you
She wouldn't ever deny
It was all her fault
She let herself go
The end is your present
I wish I could just lay and hold you forever
Then maybe you would feel ok
I can help you forget
I want you to win, I want you to pass this test
She started losing herself
Whilst she was falling for you
It is a cruel world
Why is timing never on our side
Her mind wouldn't let her have you
She wasn't prepared to learn this lesson twice
She was empty inside
You make her feel alive
But that is not right
That is wrong
She needed to love herself first to move along
