Chapter 8: Exploring the 2nd floor and a talk with Egg-kun

1st person POV:
When I reach the second floor, I find Makoto standing in front of the stair.

Is he having his so long thoughts as always. I call out to him:"Naegi-san, do you want to explore together?"

"Onigawara-kun! ...of course I would love to." Makoto answers

"I see then let's go!!" I run first

"Wait for me, Onigawara-kun!!" Makoto runs after me

We enter the pool to see that Aoi, Celeste, Chihiro and Sayaka are there.

"Oh, Naegi, Onigawara! Hey, guess what! Guess what I found! A pool! There's a pool here! A POOL! Pool pool pool!" she cheerfully says

"Yeah, Asahina-san, I saw it. It is good to have a place like this." I say

"And there a ton of exercise equipment in the locker room! Sakura-chan is gonna go nuts when she finds out!" she continues

"Yeah, you're right about that." Makoto replies

"It's really a good thing!! We can resume our training in this place, Onigawara." Aoi adds

"Yeah." I replies

Oh, there is that thing too. I guess I should continue training with them.

"Resume your training?" Makoto asks

"Yeah! Last time, I, Sakura-chan, Owada and Onigawara trained together in the gym. It's very fun!!" she explains

"I see. I don't know you are a person that likes training, Onigawara-kun?" Makoto says

"Yeah, I was surprised at that time too!" Aoi exclaims

Damn, you guys are right though. I just train to prevent the killing but turn out it is better than I expected.

Wait, the sentence above can be misunderstood out of context. Luckily, Hifumi isn't here.

"Hey, Fujisaki-san. Did you check out the pool?" Egg-kun asks Chihiro

"No...I don't...like wearing swimsuit." he answers

Of course he is still hiding his gender. I must make him tell me about this at all cost.

" But still...it sounds like the locker rooms here have all the exercise equipment you could ask for. Maybe I'll give it a try. I'd kind of like to get a little stronger..." Chihiro continues

"That's good. Fujisaki-san you can join our training if you want." I offer

"Really, thank you very much!!" Chihiro happily says

Well, Mondo is in the group too so that is fine.

"But...I'm not even brave enough to step foot into the locker room..." Chihiro says

"Huh? You don't even wanna go in the locker room?" Makoto asks

"It's not that I don't want to. It's just..."  Chihiro can't say more

"Don't worry Fujisaki-san. If you want we can move the equipment to train in the gym instead of the locker room." I say

"Thank you, Onigawara-kun, you are so kind to me." Chihiro thanks

"No problem, I still need to learn more from you about programming after all." I smile

Then I approach Celeste. I almost forget about her. She is very hard to persuade so I should talk more with her in the future.

"The 2nd floor has opened up, the living area has grown, and a number of facilities are now available. Whatever else is going on, I must admit things have been made much more comfortable for us. If things continue like this, the occasional murder may not be so bad. Hmhmhm..." Celeste says
