- He is the chief priest and pastor of Masuda Village's only religious facility
- Since his ancestors, who were farmers, found a buried shrine on their properties, they've been in charge of enshrining the Gods for generations
- As time went by, the villagers began to accept multiple different religions, and now, statues of Gods from all around the world are gathered in the hall
- Eikan is the 12th generation, but he is a fake and has no intentions on following the precepts
- He also acts as though he has been cursed under the name of "Tosenbo Ryokai" (completely bogus)*
- Since his wife went missing whilst picking wild plants, he has been living a deprived life, spoiling his son Boron instead
