HIS SMILE

Closing the doors of yesterday,
Making up to this day.
The lies you made was something I would never like to hear
Again today. That's what I fear.

Every tear I dropped feels like blood.
Every fear I felt was a nightmare I had.
The plot of my story was heavily twisted.
Those words I heard was the reason that I faded.

But every past brings a lesson
And those lessons were the reason.
Of why we are back as one now.
Ain't the same but it's a fairytale somehow.

We've been hurt, it was laid.
They forced you to leave, but you stayed.
You gave us everything you had.
For me, you were never bad.

You are the best of the best,
My life is not the same as the rest.
Forgiveness has been said, I'm glad.
Your smile is my happiness. Keep it, because I love you, Dad.
