HAUNTED HEART

I closed my eyes as the cold breeze blew,
The winter nights will be in a few.
As the little snows starts to fall,
Slowly my heart starts to recall.

The promises, the songs,
The cries, the wrongs.
The lost, the broken,
And the words unspoken.

With a heavy heart I slept again,
On this big soft bed we used to sleep in.
Flashes of your smiles appeared from the dark,
And your eyes glistening that beautiful spark.

I loved again, finally I did.
Or was I fooling myself as I bid.
Bid farewell to our old love story,
Breathing but dying inside this cold little country.

I broke another heart today my love.
It's numb and clueless like the little dove.
It's hard to love again, back from the start.
How can I forget, when you left a haunted heart?
