Mario's POV:

"I WILL NOT BE A COWARD"- he yells at me, as I just stare at his face with a straight face, in which he gulps with the color draining from his face. I put my arm around him and hold the knife to his neck, cutting deeper into it but barely piercing his skin. He struggled as I did, I can tell he was about to break.

He was about to speak until my phone rang out loud, echoing through the basement. I roll my eyes and nod towards my men permitting them to finish the mess I started.

"Hello, can I help you?" I asked into my phone while wiping and washing the blood off my hands, pissed off as I was about to get information from that traitor. He was fucking spying on us.

"Hello, this is Lily from social services. I would like to inform you that your daughter has been found in the care of her dead parents. She has nowhere else to go so we took a DNA test and you were a match. Would you like to take her in?" the phone speaks back to me

I stand there thinking about everything. Of course, I want my little golden star. I miss her. I miss her face. I regret everything I did to her and I doubt she would forgive me. I've missed out on most of her childhood. We all became more distant since we saw that video, we barely spoke to each other. Oliver drowned himself in killing people. Elijah pretends he hates Aurelia. Santiago pushes away his sadness and Lorenzo didn't talk to us ever since he saw that clip. He tried to tell us that she was telling the truth but he shut us out.

"Hello? Is anyone there" The phone speaks out to me, checking if I was still on the line.

"Yes, I would love to take her"I say instantly not even thinking about it. She gives me the address right away.

"I will pick her up right away, I'll be there after school. Thank you bye". I cut the call quickly and sit for a second, thinking about how the boys and my wife might react, and how much our lives are going to change. I quickly got up and headed to the living room.

"FAMILY MEETING" - I yell with my voice echoing around the house. I hear 5 footsteps running to the living room, kind of sounded like a herd of animals. I position myself at the head of the table as I wait for them to come. They all come and take a seat dramatically.

"I just got a call. Some foster parents died and our little golden star needs a place to stay so she's coming home to us"- I say quickly not wanting to break down into tears. Lorenzo jumps up and down in happiness. Oliver smiles like never before and Santiago jumps with Enzo and Elijah tries to hide his happiness but I see it and my wife, she's bursting into tears

"I and Oliver will go pick her up and we have to leave as soon as possible" I say to him and he smiles. I look around the room to see if they were okay with this and they were.

"Meeting over. Get ready for your sister she's coming tomorrow. Be on your knees apologizing when you hear a knock."

------------------------------------

Arriving at the address I quickly knock and when the person opens up I am met with my beautiful daughter.

She looks so different, she started wearing contacts, she dyed her red hair blonde, she looks so much like her mom when she was younger.

"Umm, hello. I'm your father I'm here to pick you up."- I said nervously

"My father died years ago"- she said in a cold tone

What happened to her? Where is my sweet little girl that would run around the house?

"Hi, I'm Oliver your brother" he said matching her glare

But her's was scarier and to be honest, I feel like I'm about to shit my pants

"Uhh can we go now I already packed my bags and shit"- She said with no emotion in her voice.

"Let's go home honey"

"What home?"- she mumbled under her breath

That hurt a lot more than it should

Third-person POV:

Does he think he can come here and suddenly he'll be family and everything would be fine? He was more stupid than I thought. she thought to herself.

They were the ones who abandoned me. They were the ones who left me.  So who the fuck does he think he is expecting me to be all peachy.

They then made their way home or hell as Aurelia liked to call it.

Her family was hopeful, maybe this meant they could have a relationship with Aurelia. But for Aurelia, it meant nothing to her. She would make sure she moved out right when she was 18. She knew she could never forgive her family no matter how hard they tried because if they didn't believe or trust her as a little girl how would they trust her now? Love without trust meant absolutely nothing.
