Satori POV
After mommy got done showing me around just this floor, I have to say I listened to everything intently.
Mommy looked at her watch.
"Well it's almost lunch time I think we should go meet Tony in his office don't you?" She said smiling down at me,
I nodded and we made our way back to Tony's office, where it was empty.
"Wait here Tori. I'm going to go find him," She said smiling at me
I nodded
She left
He had a small white board on the wall that had numbers and calculations for how he can calibrate the suit to go faster without destroying it,
I spot something.
I hear the door open but I was still looking at the problem, you see I'm advanced for my age. I can solve most math problems and science problems in my head,
"Tori what's wrong?" Mommy said
Her and Tony were both looking at what I was looking at.
"Your problem is wrong," I said pointing at it.
Tony chuckled.
"That's impossible." He said
"It is you should have a 9 there," I said pointing
"Not to disagree with your adorableness of trying to be right. but it's impossible." Tony said
"Did you test it out?" I said
He arched his brow.
"Yes." He said
"And it didn't work did it?" I said
"Well.." He trailed off
"Because that's supposed to be a 9." I said
Mommy looked at me telling me to cool it. but I couldn't it was wrong.
Tony walked over to the board looking over everything.
His eyebrows scrunched,
"Impossible." He said he spun around looking at me
"How did you do that?" He said
"What can I say I'm good with numbers." I said smiling
He looked at mommy who just smiled and nodded,
He cleared his throat.
"Umm wel thanks lets go have that lunch." He said
"Sounds like a plan." I said smiling following mommy out as he held the door.
Tony took us to this restaurant where he reserved the entire place for us. so it was just us. in this big fancy restaurant.
"So Satori what do you like to do? your mom has been a little vague with everything involving you." Tony said taking a sip of his drink.
"Call me Tori everyone does. well I like to build things. Draw. and as you found out I'm fast with numbers. I'm good with the piano and I'm really good at complicated puzzles." I said
"Build things huh?" He said
"Yeah, last year I tried making a science project and blew up my dad's kitchen. ohh man was he mad," I said giggling as I took a bite of my food
"I bet he was." Tony said chuckling
"He wouldn't stop telling me about it every time I would come over. No Sweetie no blowing up the kitchen I just got it refurnished." I said imitating dad's voice
"Satori." Mommy said
"Right sorry." I said smiling at them.
"I do have to say I am impressed that you did prove me wrong today." Tony said finishing his glass and putting his cloth napkin on the table
I smiled at him.
"Not many people prove me wrong but you did." He said
"What can I say I couldn't help myself." I said
Tony laughed.
We all finished and sat there and talked by the time we walked out the sun was starting to go down.
I have to admit today was a dream come true proving the great Tony Stark wrong. having lunch with him. talking to him about science projects and experiments.
It was far different than I'm used to. when I talk to my dad about my interests he doesn't say it but I know he tunes me out.
And when I ask him something he just simply says
"Hmm I'm sorry did you say something."
I mean I get that he's preoccupied with work. but he could at least listen.
Tony is different.
He listens. comments. acknowledges. laughs.
It was different and I liked it.
We get back to the tower and walk into Tony's office to see one Captain America standing and waiting
"Whoa is that Captain America." I said walking towards the man.
He chuckled kneeling in front of me.
"Yeah. but you can call me Steve." He said smiling at me.
"Rogers can I help you." Tony said
Steve stood up.
"Yeah. Fury is asking for you." Steve said
Tony nodded.
"I'll see you girls later." Tony said
I nodded smiling at him. Tony walked out.
"Nice meeting you Steve." I said waving at him.
"You to uh.." He stopped realizing he didn't get my name.
"Satori." I said
"Satori," He said smiling at me
He walked out of the room behind Tony. I couldn't help but feel happy in this moment meeting not just Black Widow but Captain America.
Not many people get to meet the avengers very often and I've met three of them!
Tony who is Iron man. Nat who is Black widow and Steve Captain America. I know I sound like a fan girl. But I never dreamed I would ever meet them as much as mommy talked about them I knew it was her job and I couldn't risk her job just because I wanted to meet them.
But now I've met three of them and I have to say this is far more better than some stupid festival. I thought smiling ear to ear
