Ch. 8 "Bruce"

                                                Satori POV 

As I was getting introduced to Bruce something caught my attention. 

"Whoa is that?" I said to Tony as I walked towards the Iron Man suit. 

"Yeah. still running the numbers you fixed for the suit," Tony said from behind me. 

"Have to say much more incredible in person than on Tv." I said looking at Aw at the suit. 

I hear Tony chuckle 

"Thank's Tori." Tony said standing next to me. 

We hear someone clear their throat, I see Mommy she didn't look very happy, she walked towards me. 

"Satori what are you doing here?' She said kneeling in front of me. 

"Dad never showed up. I called but Tony answered." I said smiling back at Tony 

She arched her brow. then looked back at me. 

"Oh Honey I'm sorry I know you were looking-" Mommy began. 

I smiled waving my hand. 

"It's fine." I said 

Then I see Bruce looking oh man mommy is embarrassing me. 

Hurry think of something to get the heat off of me. 

I walked towards Bruce. 

"Hey Bruce can you show me the cool stuff. like stuff that explodes! or how you repair the Iron Man suit." I said smiling ear to ear. taking his hand as we walked out of the lab

"Umm. Uh sure.." He said not really sure how to react

                                                Tony POV 

I smiled as I had my arms crossed watching the confusion on Bruce's face. 

"Kid certainly grows on you," I said smiling 

Pepper looked worried. 

"What's wrong?" I said 

"This is the fifth time this month he's made promises to her that he hasn't kept." She said 

"I know Satori is a happy little girl. but you can see it in her eyes." Pepper said sadly 

This concerned me. 

I wrapped my arms around her. 

"What?" I asked 

"Her disappointment." She said sadly 

"She won't say it. but she wants so badly for him to just spend a little time with her. acknowledge her." Pepper said 

Guy sounds like a real tool. I thought 

Who lets their child down. time and time again like that? 

Sure I don't have any kids. and I just Met Satori not so long ago. but still that's besides the point. 

"How about we do something?" I said 

She arched her brow. 

"Just the three of us." I said 

"Tony I couldn't ask you-" She began 

"Nonsense I want to." I said 

                                              Satori POV 

So to say Bruce was impressed with how I know how to combine chemical components. well it's a understatement because now he's turning it into a game. 

"Okay how about this one and this one." He said handing me a blue chemical and a pink one

"Well that would be a highly bad mistake because that would blow us all the way to Japan." I said 

He smiled pleased with the answer. 

Then he handed me a green and red one. 

"Well you take a drop of the red and put it in the green like so." I said doing as I said 

"And tada." I said we watch as it bubbles 

"Incredible." He said amazed 

"Come on I'm a kid not stupid." I said 

He chuckled 

Tony and Mommy walked in. 

"Hey Tori come on we have to talk to you about something." Tony said 

"Alright," I said jumping out of the chair. 

"Thanks for the game Bruce." I said waving to him as I left the room.
