Ch. 7 "Cheering up"

                                                  Satori POV 

I looked out the window as Tony drove us back to the tower. it started raining. it was quiet.

I get it. I really do. work. need to pay bill. afford a place food. necessities. 

But why is it that I fell so horrible. why do I feel like I'm the problem. 

Am I that much of a burden? I thought 

I shook my head. No I'm not. 

He's at fault not me. he's the one who makes promises that he can't keep. 

He makes plans and doesn't follow through with them. 

He's the one to takes me back to mommy not even an hour later when it's supposed to be a weekend. 

It's not my fault it's his. I thought 

I sighed looking out the window. 

I just wish I knew why? 

Why didn't he want to spend time with me? 

Why didn't he want me? 

Was it something I did?

                                   Tony POV 

It was quiet which might I add is odd. 

Sure I know I haven't known Tori very long a few weeks max. but I know the kid likes to talk. talk about anything and everything. 

I heard a sigh escape her lips. 

I looked over at her and she was looking out the window. 

Hmm. I thought 

I decided to take a little detour to the tower. 

She looked at me. 

"You went the wrong way." She said right away smiling at me, 

Sure I know the kid isn't showing it. but she's upset. 

I mean who wouldn't be. kids dad is an ass. who leaves their kid wait for over an hour and still not show up. 

"I know." I said still looking at the road. 

"How do you feel about a little pick me up." I said parking the car outside this really good ice-cream shop

"I wouldn't complain but I wouldn't call Ice Cream a pick me up." She said giggling 

"Oh touché" I said 

"What you feeling chocolate? Peanut butter? Peanut butter and chocolate?" I said looking down at her, 

"Can't have peanut butter... Nut allergy" She said looking at all the ice cream options 

"Did not know that." I said 

She smiled at me. 

"No big deal." She said waving her hand 

I smiled 

We walked out of the shop with ice cream. man am I turning into a sucker getting ice cream. I thought 

I looked down at Tori. 

But I think the kid needed it. 

After finishing our ice cream we got in the car and made our way back to the tower. 

                                                Satori POV 

I do have to give Tony props that did work. I can't remember the last time I had ice cream. 

We walked into the tower. taking the elevator to a different floor. 

"Where we going?" I asked 

"There is someone I want you to meet." He said smiling down at me. 

I nodded 

We walked into what looked like a lab it was huge. 

"Whoa," I said said looking around in amazement, 

"Yeah Whoa." Tony said chuckling 

A man walked towards us. I couldn't tell who he was at first but as he got closer I knew exactly who he was. 

Bruce Banner. aka Hulk. 

Aside from Tony he's one of the smartest men on the planet and in this tower, I thought 

"Ah. Bruce great timing this is Satori," Tony said motioning down to me, 

Bruce squatted down in front of me, 

"Ah Satori I've heard a lot about you. it's great to finally meet you." He said taking my hand, 

"You too," I said smiling ear to ear as I shook his hand, 

I am shaking hands with Bruce Banner aka Hulk.
