Alessia Valentina Esposito-Ricci, a badass seventeen year old who, with her twin brother Alessio Valentino Esposito-Ricci, had gone through literal hell after being kidnapped by the Russian Mafia at the tender age of 4.
They were abused and made into terrifying assassins by the Russian's. After eight years in that hell hole, the twins finally escaped. They made a name for themselves in the underworld, which eventually led them to meet Louis Monet, The French Mafia Don, who was mourning the death of his wife and son. They helped him find his happiness again, and he became their father figure. Unfortunately, he couldn't adopt them as they already had a foster father.
When the twins were fifteen, he had died from an ambush from the Russians. His Mafia was given to Alessa, while his legal businesses were given to Alessio. One day, her adoptive father dies, causing her "real" family to find out about her and her twin.
