Alessia's POV

I woke up to Alessio shaking me to the point my brain might have rearranged itself. "What do you want?" I grumbled at him.

"We are going to be late for school", he pointed out.

Why can't he leave me alone?!?!

 I already graduated!

It's not like I ever wanted to go to school.

My inner monologue was cut by Alessio shouting my name.

"Give me ten minutes to get ready," I told him and slowly started to get ready for school.

I put on jeans and a sweater and went out to see Alessio casually eating. I quickly grabbed a banana and ran to the garage, shouting, "I'm driving." Alessio tries to catch up with me, but I promptly get into my Bugatti Divo.

It's been a while since I drove as Alessio banned me from driving, saying, "It's not just for your safety but for everyone around you in a ten-mile radius."

Alessio, or Ale as he only lets me call, got in the car grumbling.

I made the usual 20-minute drive to school a quick 5 minute one.

As we both got out at the same time, the crowd parted for us to get in. I would not say we're famous, but we definitely are feared. We have frequently put bullies in hospitals and have gotten away with it cause the principal is a member of my mafia.

Our first class was math, and I definitely was going to sleep, but Ale being the "responsible" one as he calls himself, he would pay attention to class. We kicked the door open, and Miss Perez, our math teacher, just sighed at us. We took our seats, and Miss Perez started class, and I continued sleeping.

Just as I was about to start dreaming of pizza and candy, "ALESSIA AND ALESSIO RICCI, PLEASE COME TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE" blared through the classroom speakers.

"What did you do?" Ale asked me

"What made you think I was the one who got in trouble?" I retorted

He just raised his eyebrow at me. I just sighed and told him I didn't punch anybody today or yesterday.

We had reached the principals' office by then. Maria, the kind secretary I had grown close to with my frequent visits, looked at us in pity. I hated her look; I hated pity.

I ignored her and kicked the door open. We walked in with powerful strides. Oliver, the principal, always got up from his seat and sat in the chair for the visitors while I sat in his seat with Ale standing at my side.

While this happened, I noticed three people wearing expensive suits standing at the side. I scanned them for threats, and when I found that two were carrying guns, I looked questioningly at Oliver. He just gave me a look that meant he'll explain later.

Ale finally decided to speak, "What's wrong, Oliver? Alessia claims to have not punched anybody today."

He chuckled and replied, "Only if you don't count her history teacher."

"He was being a perv", I replied

"Anyways, Alessia and Alessio, I regret to inform you that your foster father has overdosed and passed away today", He informed us. He did not have pity in his eyes because he knows we paid him to be our foster father as he is a part of my mafia.

"Now, what's going to happen to us? Foster care?" I asked, even though I had a hint of what was going on.

"Actually, your father and eldest brothers are here to pick you up. Your father, Leonardo Esposito, is your legal guardian now." He replied

FATHER AND BROTHERS!?!?!
