Reunited

Chapter 7

Leonardo's POV

"Welcome to the hanger of the head of Valentina airlines" Alessia smiled at us. It was a small smile but a smile nonetheless. I didn't know what to be surprised at, the fact that she smiled at us for the first time or the fact that she had access to the hanger of the CEO of Valentina Airlines.

It was like heaven in there. I have always loved flying. It gave me a sense of freedom. I could see in Alessia's eyes how she felt the same when she looked at the aircraft.

I looked at Lorenzo and Dante, and they were as shocked as I was. We chose to keep quiet and boarded the jet with the twins. Dante was outright gawking at everything he saw.

After the jet took off the ground, I decided to break the silence. "How do you guys have access to the planes of the head of Valentina Airlines?"

The CEO's of Valentina Airlines and Valentino Hotels and Restaurants are some of the most secretive people on earth. They make up the top 1% by themselves. The only thing people knew about them was that it was rumoured that they were siblings. I mean, it was shocking.

Alessia just smirked, but Alessio replied, "We don't just know the CEO. We are the CEO's."

It was silent for a few moments, then finally Dante spoke, "Wait, you're the wealthiest people on earth?!?!?

The twins nodded.

"How?!?!" Dante spluttered.

God, can't this guy behave like a normal person? He is embarrassing me!

Alessio chuckled and replied, "Well, long story short, a person very dear to us helped us in achieving our dreams."

I could see Alessia's mood deflate when Alessio said that. I hope they open up to us, but who am I kidding? We haven't seen them in so many years. Even though it hurt me to say this, we are basically strangers to them.

"I'm very proud of you both," I told them. A small smile from Alessio was all I could get, but I was happy with that.

"Please don't tell anyone about this, not even your own family." Alessio requested.

I wasn't planning on telling anyone anyways. They trusted us with one of the best-kept secrets on earth. I wouldn't dare break their trust. It's their secret to say to others, not mine.

"Don't worry, we won't", Lorenzo assured them.

The rest of the flight was spent by Lorenzo doing some Mafia work, Dante chatting with Alessio, who gave him short but polite answer and me staring at the twins like a creep.

Finally, exhaustion hit me, and I closed my eyes.

Alessia's POV

I could see that my "Father" fell asleep. I couldn't sleep. I was never able to sleep around people I don't trust much.

Dante was asking tons of questions to Ale, and surprisingly I could see that Ale was enjoying talking to him. I was happy Ale started to bond with at least one of our "brothers" easily.

My ringtone broke me out of my thoughts. Sebastian constantly changed my ringtone to something annoying. Instead of playing some generic and annoying song, it was baby shark. The next time I see him, he is soo dead. I could see Lorenzo looking at me, amused. Dante and Alessio were too busy caught up in their conversation.

I answered it once I saw it was Andre Lavigne, my second in command.

"WHERE ARE YOU, LESSIE?!?!?!?!" He screeched. It was so loud; I had to move the phone away from my ear. Lorenzo, sitting next to me, was looking extremely amused now.

"Fredrico died, and my biological family found me. I'm on my way to Italy also; one more time, you call me that horrendous name, I will make your throat smile. Got it?" I informed and also threatened him. I could see Lorenzo looking at me proudly.

"Yeah yeah, you love me too much to do that. Anyways, Alex is searching for you and Alessio. Also, did you say Italy? Seb, Bella, Madre and Padre are on their way there in a few days." ( They call the Spanish Don and Donna that since they became Parental figures like Louis)

Alexander Bennett or Alex, as he allows the people he trusts to call him, is the English Mafia Don. He was close friends with dad, becoming a brotherly figure to us. The problem is that he is very overprotective, so overprotective that he made us stay in London to keep an eye on us even though I am the head of the French mafia! He must be going nuts because we are missing.

"Don't tell Alex anything; I'll call him once I land and tell him everything. Also, why would Bella and her Family be coming to Italy?"

"He is going to be so mad when you finally call him; he is so close to sending out all his men to search for you. Bella's brother, the one sent to the Italian mafia for training, got attacked, and since it was close to the time he is supposed to return, they decided to visit him after years."

"Don't tell them too about our current situation. I want to surprise Bella and Seb. Also, move all our prominent men to Italy and make our base there the main base for operations." I instructed

"Ok, I'll call you later; Alexander's summoning me" I could hear Alex asking him who he was talking to in the background.

"Bye then", I cut the call.

"Who was that?" Lorenzo hesitantly asked. 

I remember being very close to him and another person I called "Ren". I guess I could try being polite to them as they've been nothing but pleasant to us.

"My assistant and best friend, I was just informing him about some last-minute details about the move of the company," I replied. I don't know why I feel so comfortable with him. It's odd.

"I still can't believe you own the biggest company on earth. I'm proud of you. Wait HIM?!?!?" He almost shouted.

I chuckled and replied, "Yeah, he is like my annoying little brother even though he is older than me."

He could see that I didn't want to answer any more questions, so he kept quiet. The rest of the flight went with my finishing legal work, Dante and Alessio chatting, and Lorenzo talking to somebody on the phone.
