I had an hour to get ready. I showered, curled my hair, and got into a fresh new outfit.

I applied some light makeup and just a couple sprits of perfume. I start putting some essentials in my bag. I here a knock at my door, "Come in." My mom walks in, "Wow. Looks beautiful, as always." "Thank you. I'm gonna take my bike too." "So, who are you putting makeup on for?" She asks. "No one. Just haven't worn it in a while." She smirks, "Are you sure? Because you've had your eyes on Evan~" "No I haven't." I look at my phone (let's pretend phones exist in this movie) "Oh, I had to leave now if I want to get there in time. Bye mom." "Ok, have fun." I head out the door and hop on my bike.

I rode for 3 minutes until saw some of the guys. I stopped and walked towards them. "Hey guys, ready to get going? "Sup, Val. Let's just wait for Evan." Larry says.
EVAN'S POV
"See you later, Mom." I run outside and hop on my bike. I actually took some time to get ready. I head over and see the guys and Valeria there waiting. "There's Evan." Nick says. "Hey guys, ready to get going?" I ask. "Yea let's go." Val says. "Ok, let's hit the road."
TIME SKIP
We get to the diner and I see Valeria's eyes lit up.

"I didn't know a place like this would be in Elma." She said, eyes still on the building "Well what are we waiting for? I'm hungry for some waffles." Jeff says. We walk in and sit in a booth.

They purposely all get in one row, making me and Val sit together. "What should I get?" Val says to me. "Well" what would she like? "They have all day hot cakes and waffles. If not, I like the burgers." "I'll get hot cakes. What are you getting?" She asks. "I'm getting waffles." I say. The waiter comes to the booth. She says emotionlessly, "Welcome to Ole's Waffle House. What can I get you?"
VALERIAS POV We order and wait for our food. "So, is your mom serious about the whole soccer thing?" "Well, she really believes in you guys. I mean, yea, we don't have a name-" "Or uniforms" "Or talent" "Or at least two good players" "Yea, but- wait what was that last part?" I question. "Only you know how to play soccer." Evan says. I sigh, "Look if we don't win, we'll still have a week till the next game. That's enough time to teach you some things." The food gets here and I start to get to know the boys. "Ok favorite color?" I ask, almost done with my hot cakes. Larry said "Red" "I think orange" says Nick. "Maybe yellow" Jeff says. "Evan?" "Mines blue. You?" "Me too, I like blue." I say. "Well, we got to go. Don't we guys?" Larry gives a weird look to Jeff and Nick. "What?" Nick elbows his arm "Oh.. yea. See ya tomorrow." "Umm, ok bye guys." Evan says, confused. They leave us alone. We just sit there awkwardly. "So? What now?" "Idk." "Wanna head out? I'll just put the money on the table." I nod. "You sure you don't want me to pay for my meal." "No it's fine. Let's head out." We go outside and both stare at the sky. The starts were really bright. It felt like hours, but it was probably just minutes. Then I could feel Evans stare on the side of my head. I smirk and turn my head towards him, "Did you wanna tell me something?" He try's to talk but nothings comes out until he says kinda fast, "I-I just t-think you look really, umm, p-pretty tonight. I mean, u-um, not that you don't look pretty a-all the time." "Thank you. You know, you're not half bad either. You're, well, how could say this." I say "You're handsome." If it wasn't so dark, he'd see the mess of blush on my face. I feel a buzz in my pocket. Mother Come him now, it's getting late and we need to be rested for the game.
"My mom wants me to go home now" "Oh ok, I should too." He replies. I get up and was about to hop on my bike, but I decided to do something
I kissed his cheek. He freezes. "Ok, I gotta go. Bye Evan!" I say as I ride my bike home. Note to self: DO NOT TELL MY MOTHER.
A/N: I kinda rushed the ending but how do you like this extra chapter? And should I make more in the future? Unfortunately, it's Monday tomorrow but I will try and upload on week days if I can. Ok, love you guys <3
