When we went back to class, all we were talking about was Juan. Everyone wanted him to be on the team. My mom starting speaking, "So you were holding out on us." "It's just a game." "Not the way you play it." Jeff adds, "Wait till we go to Austin. We're gonna kick but all the way to Pizza Hut." "Man, I wish we lived in a town with a Pizza Hut." Larry says. "Look I can play at recess, but I can't play on the team." "What do you mean?" Kate questioned. We all talked over each other. "Sorry I can't." "Why not Juan?" I asked, kinda sad that he can't play. "It's a family thing." He answered. "All right, excitement's over. Everyone take their seats." We all sit down but our eyes are still on Juan. Little did he know, we had a plan.

" I don't want Juan going into the city by himself." Juan's mom says, not persuaded by us. "He doesn't go by himself. We all go." I say. "Yea." Evan adds, agreeing with me. "He'd probably do better without us but it's a team sport." Larry made us all smile. "Austins really not that far." "You could come. My mom's gonna go this time." "Oh, I can't. I work during the day." "We can take care of him ma'am. We promise." Newt said. We all agree. "Come on please? Please?"
