Emily stayed with a friend when she was in Hew Haven. She'd known Sweetie for years. Since they were just children.

"Oh my god, Emily!" Sweetie said as she barged into her apartment, with practically a million shopping bags.

"Oh my god, Sweetie!" Emily said, mocking her.

"I found a guy you're going to love!" She exclaimed. "I've got a picture."

"Not this again."

Sweetie ran over to Emily with pictures. "Couldn't you just die?!"

"Spare me, please!" She said sarcastically.

"Would you do me a favor and just have dinner with him?"

"Are you kidding me? No!"

"Please!"

"Why?"

"Because I might have already set up dinner for the both of you-- please don't be mad!"

"Fine. What's his name?"

"Stephen."

"I can already tell that I wont like this."

"I think that you'll really hit it off!"

"I swear, if you're wrong.."

"I'm not. Tomorrow at 8:30."

"Tomorrow?! You're not serious!"

"Yes, tomorrow. He'll pick you up at 8:30- are you intoxicated?"

"No?! What makes you think that I'm.. well you know?!"

"You aren't listening to what I'm saying."

"I am, you just didnt consult me about any of this. I'm.. processing."

"I'm sorry.."

"No, it's fine. I'll go. What should I even wear?"

"I dont know, whatever."

"Oh, great, so I'll just wear my pajamas, does that sound good?" She rolled her eyes.

"Who wouldnt want to see you in your pajamas?" She joked.

"What?" She laughed.

"With those tiny things? Please!"

"I really don't wanna go out with a stranger, Sweetie."

"Why, are you saving yourself for someone? Richard, I suppose?" Sweetie smirked.

She scoffed, "Richard is taken. I'm not a homewrecker."

"You like him. I can see it in your eyes, Emily."

"We aren't 12. I don't like him."

"So you love him?" The red head giggled to herself.

"You know.. your southern accent has gotten very noticeable." Emily teased Sweetie, knowing that she hated her accent.

"Bitch." Sweetie rolled her eyes.

"Ha!"

"I'll get you for that."

Emily went back to the subject that they were previously discussing. "I don't love him either. I love him as a friend, I guess.. But nothing beyond that. Linnie doesn't deserve to be treated that way."

"Come on, you know that she's just a gold digger who's in it for the money. Richard's loaded. You know that! We all do!"

"Sweetie!" Emily scolded "What's up with you today?!"
