Chapter 12

Danny POV

I couldn't sleep last night. My mind raced with the thoughts of yesterday. I looked over at my window to see the sun starting to rise over the horizon. I let out a deep sigh standing up, shivering as my feet touched the cold wood.

I made my way to my door walking out into the hallway hearing the sound of voices come from the living room. I slowly made my way down the stairs to see Beau and Lewis who stood by the now perfectly fixed window.

A bucket of paint laid on the ground next to them and they stood admiring the work they'd done. I reached the bottom of the stairs hearing them both laugh in unison.

Did they just forget about yesterday. I watched as Beau took a deep inhale turning towards me with red speckled eyes. Lewis looked at me with a smile patting Beau on the back

"I'll see you in a bit" he said to beau, smiling at me as he walked up the stairs

"Morning" he said as I walked over to him.

" morning" I replied softly looking at the window

"Looks good as new" I said looking up at him to see his eyes already on me I felt a small blush fill my cheeks

" couldn't have done it without Lewis he sure knows a lot about installation " he said with a laugh. I watched as his eyes continued to swirl with red deepening every moment. I'd never seen his eyes change like this before

" are you okay your eyes are changing" i said  feeling his head

"your scent is driving me crazy" he said looking away from me

"shit I forgot to put on the serum" i said reaching into my pocket which was empty. I quickly patted the other side which was also empty.

  I heard beaus breathing begin to deepen making me look up at him. his eyes were now almost fully red. Suddenly a mouth watering scent filled the room. This was something I'd never sensed before this was different from beaus normal scent. i could feel myself start to lose control.

"What is this smell" I said watching Beau cover his nose continuing to breath heavily. Small droplets of sweat slid down his forehead and his knees gave out under him causing him to fall to the ground hunched over.

"Beau" I exclaimed reaching out for him

"No... don't... t-touch me " he said in his king voice I flinched away hearing him groan as if he were in pain.

"What's happening" I said watching him look up at me with red eyes. I jumped back hearing him groan again and look at the floor

"Go get Lewis now" he said

I quickly made my way up the stairs running to Lewis's room at inhuman speed

" Lewis" I yelled knocking on the door frantically

A few moments later he opened the door with a concerned look on his face

"Hey what's wrong" he said

"Something's wrong with Beau" I said watching his eyes widen. He pushed past me quickly running towards the stairs. Suddenly he stopped, covering his nose and groaning.
