Payton and Lorelai Kyle have gone to cousins beach for as long as Payton could remember. Every summer the mother daughter duo went never missing a summer until last summer. Payton's father decided he wanted to do something with his daughter and of course Lorelei wouldn't argue with the father of her child so Payton spent all last summer listening to her father talk on the phone with business associates and clients. Payton had the worst summer that year to say the least so this summer she made sure she was going to cousins beach with her mom.
Usually every summer is the same for Conrad Fisher, pining over the same blonde who remains oblivious to his feelings . Last summer a certain blonde didn't show up and Conrad had the worst summer of his life.
This summer something changes, and Payton finally see's Conrad the way he's always seen her. Only summer is cruel and nothing happens the way it's supposed to, at least not for Payton Kyle.
