Quickly making their way past the giant, they walked through the large doors and into the hoard of the giant's treasure. The fortress of the giant was astounding, for certain, everything carrying an essence of the 'giant' as they walked by it. (Y/n) suddenly felt terribly, terribly small compared to when she was in her world. The Enchanted Forest certainly held its own dangers that even humans were unable to escape.

"They hoarded all of their greatest stolen treasures in here. Piles of jewels and every room filled with coins," Hook said as they walked. As he finished his sentence, he got sidetracked by a large cup filled with jewels and gold. Taking a piece of the gold, he grinned.

"Hey, come on. Get your head out of your treasure chest," (Y/n) said, watching as he held to gold coin to his nose.

"What's your rush?" Hook questioned, looking over at her with that grin still etched on his face.

"Do you know how long that powder will last on the giant?"

"I've no clue."

(Y/n), giving him an exasperated look, said, "That's the rush. I'd rather not wait around collecting gold we don't need and have that giant come and smash us into a thousand pieces."

Putting the gold coin he had in his pocket, he walked away from the cup and said, "Too right, lass. Come, everything we need is right in front of us"

Walking inside the giant treasure hoard, they saw it was filled to the brim with gold, jewels, accessories, pearls, and all sorts of treasures that (Y/n) had never seen in her life. However, as she looked around, she realized just how much there was to search through. "How are we supposed to find a compass in all this?"

"By looking. Start searching," Hook pointed towards another part of the hoard, picking up a large red ruby and gazing at it. "I wonder how much treasure we could carry down the beanstalk." When (Y/n) scoffed, he quickly added, "In addition to the compass, of course."

(Y/n) stopped walking and said, "Oh, my God," when she saw an old withering skeleton laying on the ground in front of them. In the hand of the skeleton was a sword that read the name 'Jack' near the hilt.

"That would be Jack," Hook said. "Jack the giant killer."

"I see the giants must have gotten to him first," (Y/n) stated, crossing her arms as she looked down at the, apparently, once great giant killer. "Makes sense if he was using that toothpick."

"It packs quite a wallop. You'd be surprised." Hook stepped backwards as he said this, but (Y/n) caught sight of a rope that led from one side of the room to the other, pulled tightly to trip someone. Reaching forward, she grabbed Hook by his collar and pulled him close to her to avoid him setting off whatever booby trap would have captured them. Hook took this another way, and wrapped his arms around her while her hands still gripped his collar. "It's about bloody time..."

"Get your hands off me," she grunted, and pushed him away from her and the rope. When he gazed at her, she pointed towards the rope and said, "You were about to trip the security system."

Looking up, they both saw the large cage that awaited trapping them. Hook clicked his tongue and said, "Well, that's a plausible excuse for grabbing me, by the collar, might I add. But, next time, don't stand on ceremony."

He started to brush her hair back and fix her jacket collar, but she smacked his hand away and gave him a murderous glare before stepping over the tripwire and saying, "Let's just find the compass."

"You know, you don't always have to be so cold," Hook said as he followed her. "You open yourself up just a little to me, and you might find I'm actually quite charming." With this, he came to stand in front of her, blocking her path from searching.
