Y/N grew quiet after Yuri had said that
"You know i'm not kidding right?"
"I know!" Yuri said pulling back so he could look at Y/N
"Your pretty dumb Y/N.."
"Not as dumb as you Yuri!" Yuri lightly rolled his eyes before something popped into his mind
"Right, I was gonna go out for some drinks with my boss and a co-worker wanna come along? I want you to come celebrate my promotion!" Y/N let out a very annoyed sigh when Yuri had said that knowing damn well he was gonna come home drunk
"Yeah no thanks its between you and your little friends" Yuri then pouted pretty sad that Y/N declined that as Y/N couldn't help but giggle.
"Aw don't give me that look!" Y/N planted a small innocent kiss on Yuri's forehead
"I kinda wanted to show you off to my 'little friends" Y/N lightly laughed to themselves when Yuri had said that
"You can show me off next time Yuri, now go get some rest" Yuri let out a small sigh when Y/N had said that
"Fine.. But you also get some rest!"
"Don't worry I will" Yuri smiled before getting up from the couch and walking off to the bedroom with Y/N following right behind.
Once in the bedroom Yuri was snuggled up in the blankets with Y/N in his arms
"Next time i'll go to your work to protect you Y/N I promise" Y/N couldn't help but giggle
"It's fine Yuri, I can protect myself" Yuri gave Y/N a small frown when they had said that.
Soon as the next day rolled around and Y/N was working while Yuri was at a bar with his boss and his director
"I thought that little 'wife' of yours was coming along" Yuri just lightly shrugged before taking a drink from his cup
"You don't have to be shy Yuri, you can tell us you aren't actually married" Yuri just froze up after his co-worker had said that
"I'm not lying! I swear!" His boss and co-worker just lightly laughed after Yuri had said that not really believing that Yuri was actually married.
"Now you finally got over your sister, at least that's good"
"Mhm! I think after what you had said helped" Yuri said with a small smile in his face.
I think slowly but surely i'm getting over Yor, I know someday i'll be able to repay her for taking such good care of me as a kid
