SHRINE OF THE BEAST

And as I lay her down, her soul to steal

the beauty of the world revealed,

through the windows of her eyes.

So now my own I betray,

forever in these arms I lay,

her love protecting the beast that is I

And here she stands, Hell she has braved.

Her mortal soul, a Devil saved

A warrior of Light now tainted with Dark

But only beauty fills her heart

You? You ask what of me?

My sins are many, but now I'm free

Forever cast out alone I wait

Standing here at heavens gate

The merest glimpse as she passes by

Just a moment to catch her eye

I'll wait eternity to tell her of

My ever true and undying love
