AVALON JETT felt her heart pumping blood at an alarming rate, the organ beating repeatedly up against her rib cage. She placed a hand on her chest and exhaled slowly, leaning her head back against the headboard of her bed.

She didn't know why she panicked so much at the thought of Parker finding out she though someone else was attractive. She assumed it was just because Parker had always been the jealous type, extremely jealous. And when he got jealous, he got mad, extremely mad. Even though he looked hot doing it, he tended to make decisions and say stuff without thinking of the consequences.

But there was a nagging voice in the back of her mind shouting over and over again to look up Jonathan's instagram. They followed each other and they had several mutual friends, but she never really paid attention to him. She'd like his posts every once and a while, but that was all it ever was.

She clicked on his profile, turned her typically low brightness up and her eyes widened. Although it pained her to admit, again, he was hot as fuck. She began scrolling through his posts, reading through comments of girls complimenting him and even some he replied to with rather flirty responses.

Her bedroom door opened and she jumped ever-so-slightly, turning her head to meet eyes with her boyfriend.

"What took you so long? I thought you just went to the bathroom." She said, scooting over to make room for him.

As he hopped in next to her and draped the comforter over their legs he hummed, "Yeah, I did. Just got distracted scrolling through tiktok and stuff."

"Oh, okay." She shrugged, laying her head down on his shoulder, immediately closing out of Jonathan's instagram account before Parker noticed.
