all are gender neutral unless stated otherwise, some are longer than others because of my lack of ideas (and also I was writing this while watching the smtown live so I got distracted)
chishiya:
doesn't care about new years, he was probably dragged into this by kuina, he sat at the roof of kuina's building with all their shared friends, including you, you weren't super close, but you were kuinas best friend, so he had to be yours as well
it was a minute away from new years, some people were drunk and singing along horriblely to the music around, some got ready to shoot off fireworks while the couples stayed close, you and chishiya were the only ones alone, you had a drink in hand as you slightly leaned over the ledge to watch the people on the ground
he walked over with his hands in his pockets, looking over at the fireworks and then turned to look to you, if he was being honest, he thought you were attractive, he'd never admit it out loud though
everyone began counting down from ten, as new years was ready, he tapped your shoulder and made you look at him, as everyone shouted zero, the fireworks went off and he kissed you, it was only a second but it felt like forever, he leaned away with a smirk as you stood frozen
no one else seemed to take notice, cheering or kissing their partners, you looked away with a smile on your face, and you didn't see it, but chishiya smiled too
urumi:
it was for the school's dance, you didn't have a partner but you came anyway because you helped with the decorations, urumi was in full makeup and a beautiful dress as you
wore a [outfit of your choice, suit or dress etc]
urumi notices you seemed to stray from everyone and took it upon herself to make your last night of 2022 memorable, she strolled over to you and grabbed your arm, giving you no time to protest
taking you to the dance floor, it was 11:57, enough time for one dance before the year ended, she placed your hands on her waist as she put her arms around your neck
you had a hard time following her rhythm, but she only giggled when you messed up, reassuring you she doesn't mind
the song came to a end and so did the year, all the students counting down and she looked towards
"happy new year, n/n!" she grabbed your head and made your lips meet, it was so sudden you had no time to process it as she broke the kiss and smiled at you, patting your shoulder and walking away to grab a drink
niragi:
it's his party, almost everyone is drunk and it hasn't even turned 12 yet, you were tipsy but sober enough to know what was going on, music was blasting and people were shouting, so you decided you need some air
you walked out to the balcony, breathing in the fresh air when someone else walked out, dark hair with a hair tie and piercings, no doubt the host of the party
he didn't speak, he only lit up a cigarette as he leaned against the wall, watching the fireworks, you moved your gaze away from him, and then he looked at you, he knew you, of course, a friend of one of his friends
you attempted small talk "the fireworks are pretty, aren't they?" niragi had no interest in them, he was interested in you, the way the colors exploded and looked on your skin
