𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓷𝓭 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓻𝓪𝓲𝓷 blew against the window as I sat in Mr. Keating's class staring out the window thinking about how nice sleep would be right now. It had been three weeks since our first dead poets meeting. Since that Every week we met twice or whenever we felt like it.

Everyone seemed to have settled back nicely and even Mr. Keating seemed to be opening up more even though we didn't think that was possible. It seemed now that he knew us better he could relax more.

"A man is not very tired, he is exhausted" Mr. Keating said walking up from the back of the class. I was exhausted. "And don't use 'very sad' use" he stopped looking back at us "come on Mr. Overstreet, you twerp" he clicked his fingers at Knox

"Morose?" Knox said as Mr. Keating nodded

"Exactly, morose. And she does not like him so much she can't think straight. She is" Mr. Keating looked at me smiling waiting for me to finish "Ms. Perry" everyone turned back to look at me

"In love?" I asked more than answered. He clapped his hands nodding

"Yes, she is in love" he smiled, pointing at me before glancing at Charlie. I could feel his gaze on me so I turned to look at him and was met with a grin

"In love?" He mouthed as I shrugged.

"Now, language was developed for one endeavour, and that is? Mr. Anderson? Come on, are you a man or an amoeba" Mr. Keating asked standing infront of Todd, who stared up at him not being able to answer. "Mr. Perry?" Mr. Keating asked moving from Todd

"Eh, to communicate" Neil said as Mr. Keating shook his head

"No. To woo women" he said looking between the boys before his eyes settled on me "although I feel some of you will not need words to do that"

"Today we're gonna be talking about William Shakespeare" he said while we all groaned. I put my head on my hand, letting my eyes wonder over to where Charlie was.

"Oh god" he groaned, leaning his head back before looking back at me tired. Well that was sexy.

"Oh I know, a lot of you look forward to this about as much as you look forward to root canal work," he said, his eyes looking between all of us. "We're gonna talk about Shakespeare as someone who writes something very interesting. Now many of you have seen Shakespeare done very much like this: o, Titus, Bring your friend hither" Mr. Keating said in a nasal voice earning a laugh from us

"But if any of you have seen Mr. Marlon Brando" he said normally before imitating Marlon Brando "you know Shakespeare can be different, friends, romans, countrymen, lend me your ears." Charlie and I shared an amused look while Mr. Keating walked back to the board "you can also imagine John wayne as Macbeth going: 'well is this a dagger I see before me?"

Over the next week we focused on Shakespeare. Each day it was something different. And today when he came in we were barely in our seats when He looked between us all before grabbing a book "everyone up to the front, gather around" he said. We all gathered around the first few desks.

I sat on Knox's table as Knox sat in the one infront of me and Charlie stood by my legs resting his arm behind me. Mr. Keating sat on Todd's desk.

"Dogs, sir? 'Oh, not just now" he said switching between accents making us all laugh "I do enjoy a good dog once in a while, sir. You can have yourself a three-course meal from one dog" I laughed resting my forehead against Charlie's shoulder as his body shook from underneath me. "Start with your canine crudités go to your Fido flambé for main course, and for dessert a Pekingese parfait" he said in another accent making us all laugh again "and you can pick your teeth with a little paw"
