(Episode starts off on the second floor where all the pups are sleeping, except for Dylan.)
(It is pretty dim in the room. Since it is early in the morning and clouds are hiding the morning sun.)
(When the early sun shines through the clouds and into the window it enlightens the entire room.)
(Simultaneously, Delgado's head rises from the rest of the pups. He is immediately awake.)

Delgado: Finally!
Today is my chance!
(First he looks around, he is searching for someone.)
(He goes for the next best choice when he doesn't find the right dog.)
(He storms out of the pup puddle.)
(He rushes towards Dolly, still sleeping a bit further away from the rest, alone.)

(Delgado boops her on the nose.)
Delgado: Wake up!

(Dolly is still asleep)
Dolly: Mhhhhh...

(Dolly turns around now not facing Delgado anymore.)

Delgado (in thoughts): Does she really think she will stop me with that attitude?
(he smirks)

Delgado: Come on Dolly wake up!
It is my day today!
You won't sleep through the entire day, will you?

(Delgado keeps booping her back.)
(faster and faster.)
(Finally, Dolly had enough.)
(Dolly turns around with incredible speed, almost frighteningly fast; looking at Delgado and deep into his eyes.)
(she is clearly annoyed.)

Dolly: What is it, Delgado?!
Why do you bother me so early in the morning!?

Delgado: You need to come down with me!
You and Dylan wanted to take me to the park...

(Dolly looks a bit confused.)

Delgado: Don't you remember?
(Delgado looks disappointed.)
(hanging ears.)

(Dolly realizes that Delgado is upset.)
(She answers quickly.)

Dolly: Eh... of course I remember.
Let's go!

(While walking outside of the room, Dolly asks Delgado a question.)

Dolly: Do you know where Dylan is?
Did you already wake him up?

Delgado: No, I mean I wanted to wake him up instead of you, so he would wake you up.

Dolly: Why that?

Delgado:
I didn't want to do it because you can get pretty scary when you are still sleepy.
(Delgado is looking to the side, slightly nervous laughter.)

(Dolly laughs and grabs Delgado, saying with a funny tone.)

Dolly: Oh come on Delgado, I would never dare to get angry with you!

(Both of them arrive at the living room and proceed to walk into the dining room. Dylan is sitting at the table, reading Dogs in Space part VI. He doesn't notice them until they reach the end of the dinner table.
He prepared a fine presented meal in the best place on the table. The head of the table.)

Dylan: Ah, how is the little champ doing?

(Delgado smiling awkwardly, Dylan's question is uncomfortable for him.)

Dolly: You are already awake?

Dylan: Of course!
I needed to prepare a healthy breakfast for little Delgado here.
He needs to be fit for his great day.

(Dylan rubs Delgado's head.)

Delgado: Oh, yeah, thanks Dylan, but I am not really hungry right now...

Dylan: Are you sick?
Maybe you should stay in bed and forget about this all...

Dolly: Okay I am sorry;
I don't remember what today is.
What should he forget about?

(Dylan rolls his eyes.)

Dylan: You're just impossible Dolly...

Delgado: Today is the start of the great Racing Weekend at the park!
I trained for weeks!
How can't you remember it?

Dolly: I mean... you keep running around anyway at all times...
But sorry that I forgot that it was today...

Delgado: he-he it is fine, you're right it probably...
My training didn't seem so different from my usual behaviour.

Dylan: Ok we all know how Dolly can be, but let's get back on track.
Delgado if you didn't want to eat, then why did you want to get up so early?
You might not get enough sleep to participate in the race.
Maybe you should go to sleep again and cancel your participation, you might fall over because of your lack of sleep.

Delgado:
l I wanted to go outside and grasp a bit of the fresh morning air before moving to the park.

Dolly: And then why did I need to wake up so early?!

(Delgado moves to the door of the dining room.)

Delgado: Well, you need to prepare the rest of the family for the race.

(Delgado looks into the distance, away from Dolly and Dylan.)

Delgado: After all, everyone will need to see me winning the race.

(We see Delgado move outside the front door. When he steps outside, he feels the cool morning air blazing through his fur. He closes his eyes enjoying the moment of silence. He inhales deeply.
After a short moment, he exhales slowly. He opens his eyes.)

Delgado: I am ready.

(Delgado walks towards the open streets.)

(Scene shifts towards Dylan and Dolly who are still in the dining room.)

Dolly: Oh wow, someone is really excited.

Dylan: He-he yeah, he really is...

Dolly: But you don't seem to be very excited for him...

(Dylan turns around shocked.)

Dylan: Whaat!? What do you mean?
Dolly: Come on Dylan... it was pretty obvious.
You don't want him to go to the race.
Why do you want to keep him away?
You do realize how important it is to him, right?

(Dylan looks to the ground... then his eyes shift to the side.)
(Finally, his head moves upward again and he looks Dylan directly into Dolly's eyes.)

Dylan: I am just concerned.
